2014 NFL Draft order: 4 more picks determined

Out of the playoffs, Carolina looks like it needs wide receivers. Cleveland, meanwhile, finds out the pick it will get for Trent Richardson.

Four more picks in the first round of the 2014 NFL Draft are in order following the Divisional round of the playoffs.

The Carolina Panthers, Indianapolis Colts, New Orleans Saints and San Diego Chargers each lost this weekend, settling picks 25-28.

If Sunday's game is any indicator, the Panthers may want to use their first-round pick on a wide receiver. Cam Newton completed passes to just three different wide receivers in a loss to the San Francisco 49ers. Two of them (Ted Ginn Jr. and Brandon LaFell) are free agents. The other, Steve Smith, turns 35 this year and said last year he wanted the team to draft a receiver.

Fortunately for the Panthers, and other receiver-needy teams, the position is strong this year. Nineteen underclassmen wide receivers have already announced they're entering the draft so Carolina could get a good one, even with pick No. 28.

With the Colts out of the playoffs, the Cleveland Browns now know they'll receive pick No.26 in exchange for running back Trent Richardson. It's easy to make jokes about Cleveland, but it was a coup to get a first-round pick in return for a running back who averaged three yards per carry this season.
