2014 NFL Draft quarterback rankings

Teddy Bridgewater is locked in as our No. 1 quarterback, but after him this class gets interesting.

Troy Babbitt-USA TODAY Sports

The debate is already well underway. Teddy Bridgewater has been our top quarterback from the start and that's unlikely to change anytime soon. However, both Blake Bortles and Johnny Manziel are starting to pick up buzz as potential fits for the Houston Texans, who hold the No. 1 overall pick.

After the top three, the quarterback board gets interesting. Derek Carr has dropped a bit and is starting to look like a day two prospect. If not for an injury Zach Mettenberger of LSU may be even higher on this list, but he checks in at No. 5.

The sweet spot for quarterback value may come right after Mettenberger. Brett Smith of Wyoming, Jimmy Garoppolo of Eastern Illinois and David Fales of San Jose State all project as day two picks but we think each has the potential to start at the next level. Each played well enough in his senior season to pass the likes of Tajh Boyd, AJ McCarron and Stephen Morris.

In all, we have 22 quarterbacks on our board. Here's the full list.
