2014 NFL Draft wide receiver rankings

Wide receiver is the deepest position in the 2014 NFL Draft.

Don McPeak-USA TODAY Sports

With the influx of underclassmen who have declared for the 2014 NFL Draft, wide receiver is now the strongest and deepest position group in this class. Vanderbilt's Jordan Matthews is the only senior wide receiver among the top 12 players at the position in our latest rankings.

Sammy Watkins of Clemson has established himself as our top graded wide receiver. He's a likely top 10 pick and the most complete prospect at the position. Mike Evans and Marqise Lee are both likely to come off the board somewhere between picks 10 and 25. Evans has the size and physicality at the catch point teams will love but lacks a bit of suddenness and speed. Lee, meanwhile, isn't quite as physical but is a dangerous deep threat who needs to refine his catching technique.

It's very possible we will see a run on wide receivers late in the first round and continuing on into the second round. Wide receivers 4 through 12 in our rankings could have a shot at the first or second round in May. The position runs deep, too. There's a chance 40 or more wide receivers could be drafted this year. We currently have 40 ranked. Here's our list.
