2014 NFL Draft rankings: The top 200 players available

At the top of the 2014 NFL Draft, there is clearly a top tier. Actually, there's two. The first one is South Carolina defensive end Jadeveon Clowney. He is by himself on the top tier. The next one goes through our eighth rated player, tight end Eric Ebron.

While the 2014 class as a whole is a good one, those first two tiers are the clear best of the bunch. After them, there could be a real debate about where to slot the next 30 prospects.

Because of the vast quality this year, we could see a lot of trades. Teams could trade up to snag the player they absolutely want. Conversely, teams could drop down to accumulate extra picks and really take advantage of the depth this year.

As with any draft class, this one will largely be defined by the success of the quarterbacks. The catch with those quarterbacks is the view on them varies dramatically. Some prefer Blake Bortles, while others like Teddy Bridgewater. Then there are the Johnny Manziel people -- they are real. The point is, there is zero consensus on these quarterbacks.

These that's what makes the 2014 NFL Draft class so fun. Perhaps unlike any other year recently, this is such a loaded group it's hard to slot them in certain spots.
