2014 NFL mock draft: 2nd-round predictions

Could the Houston Texans take Derek Carr? How highly will Virginia offensive tackle Morgan Moses come off the board? Those are just two of the pressing issues in the second round of the draft.

SB Nation 2014 NFL Draft

You probably thought we were done with mock drafts. Nope. Not in a draft that is this rich in talent.

There are countless starters still available heading into the second round of the 2014 NFL Draft. At the top of the second, we should see some very good wide receivers come off the board, as well as some defensive linemen who slipped out of the first.

The second round may also feature the first running back picked. For the second year in a row one wasn't taken in the first round.

Following an exciting first round, we decided to plug through one more round. For this second round mock draft, Matthew Fairburn handled the picks while I did the evens.
