2015 NFL Draft order: Three rounds set following the Super Bowl

New, comments

Draft season is officially started with the first three rounds determined.

With the New England Patriots' dramatic Super Bowl 49 win against the Seattle Seahawks, the order for the first three rounds of 2015 NFL Draft are set.

That mean, unquestionably, we are now in draft season. That means more mock drafts, anonymous scouts, overvalued combine and pro day workouts and more fun inanity.

The remainder of the draft order will be set once the NFL announces the 32 compensatory picks. That usually takes place the third week of March at the NFL owners meetings.

OverTheCap.com took a stab at the compensatory picks and projects three extra third-round picks being handed out. One of them is expected to go to the Patriots because they lost cornerback Aqib Talib in free agency. Seattle could get four compensatory picks. Of course, those picks can't be traded.
