The 2015 NFL Draft's top 100 players

Southern California defensive tackle Leonard Williams is the No. 1 player in the draft, but quarterbacks Jameis Winston and Marcus Mariota are right behind him.

Kirby Lee-USA TODAY Sports

With the NFL Scouting Combine about to begin at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, there is an opportunity for players to move up on draft boards. For smart teams, moves will be minimal. A third-round player could jump into the back half of the second round. A fourth-round player could become a third-round player. But for some teams, their draft boards are set.

My rankings -- or my draft board if you want to get weird about it -- hasn't changed since early December. In more than two months since the last update, we've had underclassmen declarations, bowls, all-star games and the time to go back and work through any number of missed games from earlier in the season.

In general, this top-100 will be close to the last one. There will be one more update after the combine and pro days, but the tweaks should be minor.

Leonard Williams of Southern California has been the No. 1 player throughout the entire process, and that's not going to change. This top-100 also shows the incredible talent at wide receiver, running back and pass rusher in this year's draft. Those are the strengths, with teams having their pick of several very good players at those positions.

Of course with strengths, there are weaknesses. The class is really poor after the top two quarterbacks, Jameis Winston of Florida State and Marcus Mariota of Oregon. Only one other quarterback, Brett Hundley of UCLA, is in the top 100. Safety is another questionable group with just four players listed.
