How far could Robert Nkemdiche slip in the 2016 NFL Draft?

New, comments

This week's Mocking the Draft podcast breaks down the Ole Miss star's pro future, and tackles some of weirdest questions from the NFL Scouting Combine.

Brian Spurlock-USA TODAY Sports

At the NFL Scouting Combine last week, Ole Miss defensive lineman Robert Nkemdiche openly discussed a December incident in which he fell out of a window and was subsequently charged with drug possession. In doing so, Nkemdiche publicly implicated teammate Laremy Tunsil by saying he was present when Nkemdiche's incident occurred. The former blue chip recruit also talked about taking some plays off in college.

Of those three red flag, which will scare the NFL the most? That's one of the main topics of discussion on this week's Mocking the Draft podcast with hosts Matthew Fairburn of Syracuse.com and Dan Kadar of SB Nation. The football world probably ranks Nkemdiche's issues much differently than the corporate world would. Ultimately, what could Nkemdiche's issues mean for his draft status? In short, it's not good. Nkemdiche is also a popular pick for the Buffalo Bills in mock drafts with the 19th overall pick, but Fairburn explains why that may not happen.

Also on this week's show, weird combine questions are bounced off Fairburn. Would he murder someone? Does he know the fourth president of the United States?

We also answer several listener questions including what teams like the Eagles, Lions, Jaguars, Browns and more could do in the upcoming 2016 NFL Draft.
