After going back and forth throughout the first half, the Seattle Seahawks stepped up in the second half against the Vikings and pulled out the 30-20 win on Sunday.

In front of a raucous crowd at CenturyLink Field, Russell Wilson shined. With the Vikings up 7-0 in the first quarter, Wilson hooked up with Golden Tate for a seven-yard touchdown pass that tied the game. Wilson then found Sidney Rice on Seattle's next drive to take a 14-7 lead.

A touchdown run from Adrian Peterson tied the game at 14-14 early in the second quarter. A field goal gave Minnesota a quick lead, although Wilson completed an 11-yard pass to Tate to claim a 20-17 lead just seconds before the half.

Marshawn Lynch capped an impressive nine-play, 72-yard drive with a touchdown run midway through the third quarter to give the Seahawks a 10-point lead. Blair Walsh would hit a 55-yard field goal a few minutes later, but that was the final time the Vikings scored on Sunday.

Steven Hauschka hit a field goal midway through the fourth quarter to give Seattle a 30-20 lead they would not relinquish. Minnesota tried to make it a game late, but an interception from Christian Ponder ended any chance they had inside the two-minute mark.

Both teams are now 5-4 this season.

Fantasy studs and duds

Despite his team losing, Adrian Peterson had a monster day with 182 rushing yards, 11 receiving yards and two touchdowns. Christian Ponder did not fare as well; the second-year quarterback threw for just 63 yards and an interception on Sunday.

There were quite a few standouts for the Seahawks. Russell Wilson threw for 173 yards, three touchdowns and no interceptions. Marshawn Lynch had 124 yards and a score. Golden Tate had just four catches for 28 yards, but he hauled in two touchdowns for a solid fantasy day.

Did they cover?

The Seahawks opened as 2½ point favorites, so they covered the spread.
