You know, for a guy who ekes out a living typing gibberish about sports on the Internet, a tool I so scarcely understand that it might as well be magic, it would make sense for me to believe in kooky, phenomenal forces like karma. However I do not. But then, just this very evening, I saw a video of Brett Favre doubling over in practice on Wednesday after getting nailed in the groin by a football.
And you know what? I still don't believe in karma. But I do believe in hilarity. And this, sports fans, is hilarity of the highest order.
↵We can't say for certain that Brett Favre deserves to be nailed in the groin for the Jenn Sterger business, because as much as we might suspect he is guilty, we still don't know for sure that he is. However, for the dozens upon dozens of other things that Favre and Favre apologists in the media have done to rankle football fans over the past few years, let alone the last few weeks, this was very long in coming.
↵And even if all those irritating things never happened, it would still be funny. Hans Moleman has proven this to be irrefutable.
