NFL Picks, Week 10: Kansas City Chiefs Vs. Denver Broncos

The Kansas City Chiefs may have just gotten to be a much more popular pick for the Denver Broncos game on Sunday. Broncos LB D.J. Williams has reportedly been arrested for DUI putting his status for Sunday's game up in the air. For the Broncos, who are already missing Robert Ayers, the news couldn't come at a worse time.

That's because the Kansas City Chiefs bring in one of the NFL's best rushing attacks. In three of the last four games they've gone over 200 yards combined and their offense generally is centered around running the ball. The Broncos among the league's worst at stopping the run ranked 31st. The Chiefs more than likely will run, run and run trying to duplicated Jamaal Charles' 259-yard day against the Broncos last year.

The Broncos offense is the opposite of the Chiefs as it's based on the pass. The Chiefs have a very talented but very young secondary. They're vulnerable at times especially if the Chiefs can't generate a pass rush. The strength of the Chiefs defense lies in stopping the run, which shouldn't be an issue against the Broncos.

The Chiefs are 1-2.5 point favorites, and even in some places, depending on where you look. If the Chiefs stick to what they do best, it's hard to see how they don't come away with a win. The Chiefs often have trouble in Denver so it will be a close game but I'll take the Chiefs by a field goal.
