The St. Louis Rams are on the board after a 13-play, 83-yard drive ended with a 32-yard field goal by former Seattle Seahawks kicker Josh Brown. The drive featured tough running by Rams RB Steven Jackson, who’s up to 29 yards on five carries and 35 yards on three catches.
In the biggest game of his young pro career, Rams QB Sam Bradford has completed eight of 14 passes for 82 yards. Seahawks QB Charlie Whitehurst is in a similar boat, and has thrown only three incompletions in 12 attempts for 110 yards.
He also leads the Hawks in rushes after a brief pair of scrambles, which shouldn’t surprise you considering Seattle has the league’s worst rushing game. The bulk of Seattle’s offense was a 61-yard reception by Ruvell Martin.
On their first drive after the St. Louis field goal, the Seahawks went three-and-out.
