Tim Tebow's Hail Mary: Did Refs Miss Pass Interference Call?

Tim Tebow's stats weren't pretty in Sunday's loss to the San Diego Chargers. The Denver Broncos QB completed just 4-of-10 passes for 79 yards and rushed for another 38 yards in one half of play. But the Broncos were down 16 points against the Chargers in the second half and Tebow was part of the solution as they came back to nearly win the game.

The Chargers held a 29-24 lead as the Broncos drove down the field. Tebow hit Daniel Fells for a 31-yard gain that put the Broncos at the 29-yard line. Tebow and the Broncos got to the line and spiked the ball giving them one last chance with two seconds remaining.

Tebow took the snap and avoided several Chargers defenders and ran around the field for what seemed like an eternity. He threw the ball into the end zone.

Ball hits the ground. Incomplete pass. Game over. Chargers win.

But did the refs miss a pass interference on the call? That's the conversation going on over at SB Nation's Broncos blog, Mile High Report. Here's video of the play:

Matthew Willis is pushed back out of the end zone by a Chargers defender and comes back in as Tebow's pass hits the ground.

It's a tough call and hindsight is 20/20 but that looks like a missed call right there.
