Buffalo Bills running back Fred Jackson broke off an 80-yard touchdown run in the first quarter to give the Bills a 7-7 tie with the New York Giants. Lined up in the pistol formation, which Chan Gailey is working his hardest to bring back, Jackson broke loose up the middle. Check out the video.
Ryan Fitzpatrick later connected with Naaman Roosevelt to make it a 14-7 lead for the Bills.
The Giants scored first on a 1-yard run from Ahmad Bradshaw.
Fred Jackson has 92 yards on five carries so far in this game, continuing what has quietly been one of the best starts to the season of any NFL running back. Prior to this game, Jackson had 480 yards on 90 rushing attempts to go with five touchdowns. He’s caught 19 passes for 232 yards.
