Seahawks Lose Two Starting Offensive Linemen For The Season

The Seahawks lost two starting offensive linemen for the season this week when RG John Moffitt and RT James Carpenter went down with injuries.

The Seattle Seahawks running game seems to be emerging this week, which is why the latest news about the offensive line is so disappointing. The Seahawks lost RT James Carpenter to a torn ACL in Wednesday's practice. That will end his season for the Seahawks. This comes a day after the Seahawks had to place right guard John Moffitt on injured reserve because of a knee injury.

So that's two starters along the offensive line lost for the season for Seattle in just one week. Both players had started nine games this season.

According to the Seahawks depth chart, Breno Giacomini is behind Carpenter and Paul McQuistan is behind Moffitt.

Marshawn Lynch has had back to back 100-yard games and the Seahawks run game appears to be emerging. The Seahawks are 3-6 but the running game was one positive they've had as of late.
