Probably the best story of the day, if not the entire NFL season, is that of New York Giants linebacker Mark Herzlich. By now, you probably know his story, but if not, we'll recap it quickly. Herzlich was diagnosed with Ewing's Sarcoma, forcing him to miss the 2009 season at Boston College. But he returned the next year, starting all 13 games for the Eagles in one of the more inspirational season you'll ever see.
On draft day, Herzlich never heard his name called, instead waiting out the NFL lockout with everyone else to catch on with a team. The Giants picked him up as an undrafted free agent, leading up to Sunday night's start.
Pretty impressive story all-around, and the beginning of Sunday's game, when NBC announced Herzlich would start, was as good a moment as you'll find.
