Oakland Raiders LB Rolando McClain is under arrest, according to the police department in Decatur, Alabama. McClain was in Decatur on Wednesday evening and reports emerged he was present for a fight in which a gun was fired. However, at that time it was believed that McClain was not involved.
Apparently that's not the case. The police department in Decatur tells CSN Bay Area that McClain is now under arrest for "third degree assault, menacing, reckless endangerment and discharging a firearm in city limits." The report states he is in custody as of Thursday afternoon.
It was previously reported that McClain was in Decatur for a family funeral and a fight broke out around 10:20 p.m. One person was reportedly injured in the fight and gunshots were fired at some point. The one victim drove himself to the hospital and was later released.
This is McClain's second reported experience with guns in Decatur. In January, someone reportedly shot at McClain's vehicle, but the gunman was unknown.
