The NFL agreed to nine-year extensions on Wednesday with its three broadcast network partners CBS, FOX, and NBC. Besides a significant increase in league revenue, the deals have several changes that fans will start noticing in 2012.

The NFL is nearing a $24 billion agreement with CBS, Fox and NBC for an extension of broadcast rights, including digital broadcasts for games. The future of football looks very profitable.
