Darren McFadden Injury: Raiders RB Misses Practice Again, Looking Doubtful For Week 16

For Darren McFadden, another injury-marred season has come to this: it is now news if he jogs. The San Francisco Chronicle reports that McFadden jogged at practice on Tuesday, after having been out for almost two months with a mid-foot sprain. That doesn't count as participation in practice for the Raiders running back, but it is a promising sign that he might be a factor in the final two weeks of the season for Oakland.

McFadden has been out for the Raiders' last seven games after being injured early in Oakland's 28-0 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs in October. In those seven games, McFadden ran for 614 yards and the Raiders went 4-3 to lead a sluggish pack in the AFC West; since, Oakland is 3-4, and has been passed by the red-hot Denver Broncos for the division lead.

The Raiders are still in contention for both the AFC West and Wild Card berths, though. Having McFadden back on the field would likely help them in their pursuit of the playoffs.
