NFL inactives, Week 8: Giants vs. Cowboys

The most notable feature of the Giants-Cowboys inactives list Sunday was a name left off.

The Star-Ledger-US PRESSWIRE

New York Giants running back Ahmad Bradshaw is active for Sunday's game against the Dallas Cowboys after a week of limited practice.

Bradshaw has felt the effects of a lingering bone bruise in his foot, and he did not practice Wednesday or Thursday. He was limited in practice Friday and was officially listed as questionable for the Week 8 matchup against the Cowboys.

But when the Giants' inactives list was released about an hour before kickoff Sunday, Bradshaw's name was not listed.

Inactive for the Giants are: linebacker Jacquian Williams, safety Kenny Phillips, defensive tackle Rocky Bernard, wide receiver Jerrel Jernigan, defensive end Adewale Ojomo, offensive tackle James Brewer and tight end Adrien Robinson.

Cowboys running back DeMarco Murray will miss his second straight game with a sprained foot.

Also inactive for the Cowboys: center Phil Costa, defensive end Sean Lissemore, wide receiver Andre Holmes, linebacker Kyle Wilber, and safeties Matt Johnson and Charlie Peprah.
