Michael Vick still No. 1 on Eagles depth chart

It appears as though Michael Vick's job is secure for another week, as the latest depth chart released by the Eagles has Vick still listed as the starting quarterback. Speculation of the possible move to bench Vick was heightened after Eagles head coach Andy Reid was forced to cancel his Monday press conference because of Hurricane Sandy.

While Vick did not turn the ball over in Week 8 as he had a propensity to do in the first seven weeks, the Eagles still lost their third consecutive game as Vick completed 21-of-35 passes for 191 yards and a touchdown in a 30-17 loss to the Atlanta Falcons.

Behind Vick on the depth chart is rookie third-round draft pick Nick Foles. After a Vick injury, Foles was forced to start the final two games of preseason for the Eagles and finished the preseason with completions on 40-of-63 passes for 553 yards, six touchdowns and two interceptions.

The Eagles face the NFL's No. 32 defense in Week 9 when they travel to face the New Orleans Saints.
