Already dominating the Tennessee Titans, Christian Ponder decided to air it out to tight end Kyle Rudolph, because why not?
Ponder got good protection, and Rudolph got behind the secondary. The sophomore quarterback put the ball where only the receiver could get it, and he made a great play. On Sunday he wasn't perfect, throwing two interceptions (he entered Sunday throwing none), but overall the Minnesota Vikings stifled the Titans in a 30-7 victory.
If Christian Ponder can make these types of throws with more regularity it will make the Vikings' defense all the more potent.
