Tony Romo is everybody's punchline each week, and for partly just-cause. Today in Philadelphia, however, he has been anything but 'same old Romo'.
With the third quarter just coming to a close, the Dallas Cowboys quarterback has been sensational in a close game. Avoiding defenders, moving effectively around the pocket, and showing poise en route to 209 passing yard, two touchdowns, and most importantly-- no interceptions.
Dez Bryant has been the biggest benefactor of 'good Romo' thus far, catching three passes for 87 yards and a touchdown. His lone score occurred at the close of the third quarter on a 49 yard pass that was reviewed, but ultimately deemed to be a good catch, despite the announce team doubting if he controlled the ball.
Once thought to be the match-up of Romo and Vick, has now given way to Nick Foles who is trying to lead the Eagles to the first victory of his career.
