Alex Smith's concussion headlines the NFC West injury report for Week 10.

The Week 10 injury report for the NFC West is not long, but the key injury could have a huge impact going forward. San Francisco 49ers quarterback Alex Smith played through a finger injury, but left the Niners' game against the St. Louis Rams with a head injury that was later diagnosed as a concussion.

Smith, who is having a career season, started the game 7-of-8 for 72 yards and a score before being knocked out of the game in the second quarter. He's currently questionable for a Monday night showdown against the Chicago Bears in Week 11. Chicago may also be without its starting QB, as Jay Cutler suffered a concussion on Sunday. If Smith is unable to go, Colin Kaepernick will get the start for the 49ers.

San Francisco did not suffer any other injuries, while St. Louis escaped the week with a clean bill of health. Elsewhere in the division, the Seattle Seahawks did not have any new injuries to report, and the Arizona Cardinals were on the bye week.
