Peria Jerry injury: Falcons defensive tackle ruled out for rest of game with knee injury

The Falcons' Peria Jerry will not return to Atlanta's Sunday night game with the Cowboys after suffering a knee injury.

Atlanta Falcons defensive tackle Peria Jerry has suffered a knee injury in the Falcons' Sunday night meeting with the Dallas Cowboys and will not return to action against Dallas.

According to the Falcons' official team Twitter account, Jerry, was replaced in the game by Corey Peters, and was ruled out for the game, according to CBS Sports.

The three-year NFL veteran out of Ole Miss has recorded six tackles in 2012, four of which were unassisted. Jerry has also recorded a stuff on the season.

In the Cowboys' game against the Philadelphia Eagles last weekend, Jerry was held without a tackle, but had recorded a tackle in each of the four games before that, including two tackles against the Oakland Raiders.

For his career, Jerry has recorded 26 tackles and forced a fumble. He has also recorded two sacks for his career, although he has yet to collect one this season.
