Tim Tebow Gives Central Texas Easter Service 'Rock-Concert' Feel

Thousands of Evangelical Christians made their way to Georgetown, Texas on Sunday morning for a service known as "Easter On The Hill." Many of them came in shuttle buses from local shopping malls to hear the guest speaker, Tim Tebow, talk about Christian stuff.

From the AP dispatch, 20 miles north of Austin:

The event had the feeling of a rock concert with hundreds of school buses shuttling crowds to the sprawling megachurch from nearby shopping malls. The church invited people to bring lawn chairs and blankets for the two-hour service under sunny skies.

[...] Church officials initially expected up to 20,000 and said Tebow's appearance on Easter Sunday was coincidental. Church spokeswoman Tara Wall said it was Tebow who reached out to Pastor Joe Champion and Sunday was the best date available.

I will refrain from commenting other than it comes as no surprise that Tebow would reach out to speak at an event like this.
