Andre Johnson will miss another three to four weeks after undergoing arthroscopic surgery on his left knee two weeks ago. The Houston Texans began OTAs on Monday and Johnson, obviously, was unable to participate.
Johnson missed nine games last year while dealing with injuries to both of his hamstrings. He hyperextended his knee on Nov. 27 against the Jacksonville Jaguars in his first game back after missing six games with his first hamstring injury.
The good news for Johnson is that he should be ready to go for the start of training camp in August. He hadn't played in less than 10 games since the 2007 season. Johnson has played a full 16-game slate in five of his nine seasons in the NFL.
