Andrew Luck, the No. 1 pick in the 2012 NFL Draft, took in his first NFL minicamp on Tuesday. Due to rules on players' academic schedules, Luck hasn't been with the Indianapolis Colts this offseason outside of a three-day rookie minicamp last month.
The Indianapolis Star quoted Colts head coach Chuck Pagano as saying Luck "hasn't missed a beat." He's expected to be the Colts starting quarterback in Week 1, so this is an important week for him as he takes in practice for the first time with the veteran players.
"I've managed to learn the playbook a little bit," Luck said. He added, "I have somewhat high expectations for myself."
In other Colts minicamp news, Stampede Blue passes along word that Dwayne Allen, and not Coby Fleener, ran with the first team at tight end.
