The Buffalo Bills cut 21 players and placed one on injured reserve Friday in order to get to the NFL 53-man roster limit. SB Nation Bills blog Buffalo Rumblings has the names of the players who were cut:
Here are the names of the 21 players released: running backs Johnny White and Zach Brown, wide receivers Derek Hagan, Ruvell Martin, Naaman Roosevelt, Kamar Aiken and Marcus Easley, tight end Kevin Brock, tackle James Carmon, guards Mark Asper, Keith Williams and David Snow, defensive ends Jarron Gilbert and Robert Eddins, defensive tackles Dwan Edwards and Kellen Heard, linebackers Scott McKillop and Tank Carder, cornerback Isaiah Green, safety Nick Saenz and punter Shawn Powell.
The team placed rookie offensive lineman Zebrie Sanders on injured reserved with an undisclosed injury. Buffalo Rumblings also notes that several 'bubble' players, including backup quarterback Tyler Thigpen, made the cut.
