Jets Vs. Dolphins Game Recap: Miami Wins In OT, 23-20

The New York Jets overcame a slow start to defeat the Miami Dolphins 23-20 at Sun Life Stadium.

Trailing 17-10 entering the final quarter, another Nick Folk field goal early in the fourth would then set up the Jets taking the lead for the first time late. Mark Sanchez threw his first touchdown of the game with just 3:05 remaining to Jeremy Kerley. Down 20-17, the Dolphins then put together a late drive that allowed them to tie the game with 21 seconds remaining on a Dan Carpenter field goal.

In overtime, Carpenter would miss a 49-yard field goal that gave the Jets the chance to go for the win. Sanchez worked the ball down the field allowing Folk to win the game with a 33-yard field goal.

Fantasy Studs/Duds

Those who went with Shonn Greene in their fantasy lineups had to be disappointed with his output of 40 yards on 19 carries. Santonio Holmes had a big game where he picked up his team and fantasy owners with 147 yards on nine receptions.

As for the Dolphins, wide receiver Davone Bess may be on some owners' radars after his impressive day of 86 yards on five receptions. Bush appeared to be heading for a great day until he went down with an injury. Daniel Thomas was seeing the bulk of the carries in Bush's absence. Owners may want to consider picking him up if Bush is out for any amount of time past today.
