The Minnesota Vikings will try to build on their Week 3 upset win over the San Francisco 49ers as they travel to Ford Field to face the Detroit Lions in an NFC North battle.
The Vikings, picked to be one of the league's worst teams in the preseason, sit at 2-1 and tied with the Chicago Bears atop the division. Detroit enters Sunday's game at 1-2 after back-to-back road losses to the 49ers and Titans. The Lions have had no trouble scoring points, but have surprisingly struggled on defense.
Despite those struggles, most NFL experts are picking the Lions to win Sunday's contest. At ESPN, nine of their eleven experts chose Detroit, with only Merril Hoge and Mike Ditka going with the Vikings. Six of eight CBS experts also take Detroit, with Will Brinson and Dave Richard the only exceptions.
Vegas has sided with the experts, installing the Lions as a 4.5-point favorite.
