The Philadelphia Eagles made a lot of NFL prognosticators look dumb last season, but, unsurprisingly, most are confident that Philly will take their opening-week game of the 2012 season. The Eagles will travel to face the Cleveland Browns in Week 1, and you'd be hard pressed to find any expert willing to pick Cleveland.
At ESPN.com, all 14 experts are picking the Eagles. At CBSSports.com, all eight experts plus a "Prediction Machine" have selected the Eagles. Over at Yahoo.com, three experts plus Yahoo's users are all going with the Eagles. This is, of course, no shock -- the Browns are widely expected to be one of the worst teams in the NFL. They will be breaking in a rookie quarterback, one who struggled mightily against the Eagles in the preseason, and star running back Trent Richardson was out for a month in the preseason after minor knee surgery.
