Super Bowl recipes 2013: Crab meat dip

No Super Bowl is complete without a solid menu for your game day.

Michael Heiman

The Baltimore Ravens and San Francisco 49ers are going to kick off Super Bowl XLVII next weekend, simultaneously starting millions of parties around the country.

Of course, every party has many of the same eats: some chips, soda and/or beer, the 10-foot sub, wings, and usually some kind of dessert. That's not enough.

If you want to make your party stand out, or even if you're sitting home alone and want to add a little something to the game, try out this recipe:

Crab Meat Dip:

  • 1 can of crab meat
  • 2 8 oz. sticks of cream cheese
  • 1 small white onion (just shave a handful of thin pieces into the mix)
  • 1 teaspoon of horseradish
  • 1 teaspoon of Tabasco sauce
  • Dash of salt
  • Dash of pepper

This is a sure-fire recipe that you and your friends will love. Don't be shy about the horseradish either, that's what gives it a finishing kick.

Now go enjoy the game.
