The Buffalo Bills have scheduled an interview with Oregon head coach Chip Kelly on Friday, according to a report by Adam Schefter of ESPN on Thursday afternoon.
Kelly will be coaching in the 2013 Fiesta Bowl on Thursday night and will then be eligible to begin discussions with teams about potential opportunities.
Kelly has developed into a highly-sought after candidate for NFL openings and has been isolated as several teams' primary choice, notably the Cleveland Browns and Philadelphia Eagles.
In addition to Kelly, the Bills have also interviewed former Arizona Cardinals head coach Ken Whisenhunt (engaging in a meeting with him on Tuesday). The organization also met with Cardinals' defensive coordinator Ray Horton.
According to a report by Howard Simon of Buffalo Radio Station WGR, the team plans to met with former Chicago Bears head coach Lovie Smith this weekend.
They have also requested permission from the Denver Broncos to speak with offensive coordinator Mike McCoy.
