The Jacksonville Jaguars continue to search for a new general manager to replace Gene Smith, but Jacksonville could be down to two candidates. Atlanta Falcons director of player personnel David Caldwell and Arizona director of player personnel Steve Keim could both be close to becoming Jacksonville's next general manager.
Caldwell is close to becoming the general manager of either the Jaguars or the New York Jets, according to a report from Mike Silver of Yahoo! Sports. Caldwell, who was expected to interview with the Jaguars for a third time on Monday, could have a choice between Jacksonville or New York.
Keim is also in the running to become Arizona's general manager, but according to Silver, Keim is expected to head to Jacksonville if he doesn't take the Cardinals' general manager position. Keim was also said to be in the running for the San Diego general manager opening, but cancelled his interview with the Chargers.
