Indianapolis Colts linebacker Jerrell Freeman left Monday night's game against the San Diego Chargers with a cut chin, which was later ruled a concussion. He will miss the remainder of the game, according to ESPN.
Jerrell Freeman injury: Colts LB ruled out with concussion
Indianapolis took another hit on defense as Jerrell Freeman was lost for the game.

Freeman initially went to the sideline with the cut and it was thought he would miss a series or two while trainers patched him up. The hit was harder than initially thought as he became the next in a long line of Colts’ defensive injuries.
Safety LaRon Landry and defensive end Bjoern Werner were both ruled out of Thursday's game with injury, making Freeman the third starter unavailable. The former CFL linebacker has been a bright spot on for the Indianapolis defense this season, amassing 43 tackles, 3.0 sacks and two forced fumbles in five games.
Kavell Conner would have stepped in for Freeman, but he was also ruled out with injury. The team now turns to Mario Harvey who has just three tackles on the season.
