Arizona Cardinals left guard Daryn Colledge had to be helped off the field during the game Thursday night between the Cardinals and the Seattle Seahawks. He appears to have suffered a back injury and is reportedly questionable for return.
The Cardinals' offensive line has been abused by the Seahawks' front seven throughout the game. Nearing the end of the third quarter, Arizona has just 96 total yards of offense to 282 for the Seahawks. Carson Palmer has faced constant pressure (three sacks for a loss of 23) and the running game has managed just 25 yards on 16 carries between Rashard Mendenhall and Andre Ellington.
Colledge's injury certainly won't help the Cardinals' chances of digging themselves out of a 31-13 hole with most of the game under wraps. Mike Gibson is listed as the Cards' backup at left guard. Arizona's big deficit could lessen Colledge's chances of actually returning Thursday night.
