T.Y. Hilton injury update: Colts WR will play against Chiefs

Indianapolis will have their leading receiver despite a shoulder injury.

Pat Lovell-USA TODAY Sports

Indianapolis will have an important offensive piece as they take on the Kansas City Chiefs in a huge AFC matchup, as wide receiver T.Y. Hilton is active for the game. He is listed as questionable by the Colts.

Hilton injured his shoulder against Arizona in late November, and missed practice this week as he continues to recover from the injury. He has not missed a game this season.

Hilton has four 100-yard receiving games this season, and has caught 66 passes for 876 yards and five touchdowns. He has also served the team as a punt returner, taking 17 kicks for 159 yards. Although he has played in all 14 games this season, he has only started in four.

The second-year player out of Florida International leads the Colts in all receiving categories, although tight end Coby Fleener and wide receiver Reggie Wayne have also been favored targets for quarterback Andrew Luck.
