Long was carted off the field with the injury, and an MRI confirmed the tears. The veteran and former Miami Dolphin was a the big money free agent signing for this past offseason.
The 49ers, Cardinals and Seahawks avoided announcing any major injuries following their games. However, the Seahawks got some good news on Tuesday. Offensive tackle Russell Okung, who was placed on short-term injured reserve with a torn ligament in his toe, will return to the lineup in Week 17. Okung missed eight games while recovering from his injury.
