The majority of the NFC West was remained unharmed after Week 16's slate of games, but the Rams were not so lucky. Offensive tackle Jake Long tore his MCL and ACL against the Buccaneers on Sunday. Long was carted off the field with the injury, and an MRI confirmed the tears. The veteran and former Miami Dolphin was a the big money free agent signing for this past offseason.

The 49ers, Cardinals and Seahawks avoided announcing any major injuries following their games. However, the Seahawks got some good news on Tuesday. Offensive tackle Russell Okung, who was placed on short-term injured reserve with a torn ligament in his toe, will return to the lineup in Week 17. Okung missed eight games while recovering from his injury.

The Seahawks will host the Rams on this Sunday. The 49ers will travel to Arizona to face the Cardinals in Week 17. The Arizona-San Francisco matchup has playoff implications, as a Cardinals win and a Saints loss would get a third NFC West playoff team.
