Texans vs. Titans 2013 picks and predictions: Tennessee favored in AFC South rivalry game

The Texans and Titans are playing for nothing but pride in Week 17. Houston will lockup the first overall pick with a loss, but that means little to the players that are still on the roster and have lost 13 straight games. The Titans have free fallen out of the playoff hunt as well after losing quarterback Jake Locker to a season-ending injury.

The Titans are the home team with the better record in this matchup, which is they are favored by 7.5 points by CBS Sports. For the CBS Sports panel, the points make it a split for the eight analysts. However, when picking straight up, seven of the eight picks went towards the Titans. CBS Sports writer Will Brinson was the sole analyst to stick with the Texans.

The Showtime's Inside the NFL panel, featuring Phil Simms, Cris Collinsworth and guest analyst Franco Harris, all picked Tennessee to win on Sunday. Our very own five-man SB Nation panel voted unanimously in favor of the Titans.
