The Kansas City Chiefs and Washington Redskins will square off this Sunday at FedEx Field, showcasing two teams going in opposite directions.
Coming into the contest, the Chiefs are a road favorite, laying 3.5 points to the Redskins, according to Oddsshark.com. The over/under is set at 45.5. Over their last six games, the Redskins are an ugly 1-5 against the spread.
Kansas City has lost three straight games after starting the season 9-0, albeit two of them to the Denver Broncos. Still, the Chiefs are sitting in great position at 9-3 and three game ahead of any other wild card contender in the AFC. With a win and either a Miami Dolphins or Baltimore Ravens loss, Kansas City would clinch a postseason berth.
Washington's loss last week to the New York Giants officially eliminated it from the playoff race. Nothing has gone right for the Redskins, who have fallen apart to the tune of a 3-9 mark after winning the NFC East last season.
