The Jacksonville Jaguars host the Houston Texans on Thursday night looking for their third straight win, but Vegas favors the road team. According to OddsShark, the Texans are favored by three points over the Jaguars.
There's nothing at stake but pride in this divisional matchup — and a high draft pick. The Texans have lost 10 straight games and would be drafting in the No. 1 overall spot if the season ended today. Their latest loss came to the New England Patriots, when they blew a 10-point halftime lead to lose, 34-31. Houston did manage to cover the spread as seven-point underdogs. They fell to 2-10 on the year and are 3-9 against the spread.
The Jaguars have found some life after starting the year 0-8. They beat the Cleveland Browns, 33-28, to get their second win in a row, and covered the +7.5 point spread. The Jaguars improved to 3-9 in the standings and 4-8 against the spread. Jacksonville are still underdogs this week, but this is their smallest point spread of the season.
