49ers injury report for Super Bowl XLVII: Aldon Smith limited on Thursday but expected to play

Aldon Smith and Ahmad Brooks were the only 49ers limited in Thursday's practice, but neither is expected to miss the Super Bowl.

The San Francisco 49ers are a relatively healthy squad heading into Sunday's showdown with the Baltimore Ravens, as nearly everyone was a full participant in Thursday's practice.

Outside linebackers Aldon Smith (shoulder) and Ahmad Brooks (shoulder) were the only players who had limited participation, but both are fully expected to suit up in the biggest game of their lives. Brooks banged up his shoulder in the NFC Championship Game and has been dealing with a dislocated finger since training camp, but it hasn't affected his play on the field.

Another name to watch for is defensive end Justin Smith, who is still dealing with a partially torn triceps muscle. Smith confirmed he will need offseason surgery, but had another full practice on Thursday and is expected to gut it out for one more game.
