When the Super Bowl comes to the New York area next year, the NFL Experience won't be along for the ride. The NFL Experience could not find a large enough location for the massive undertaking in the metropolitan New York area according to Terry Lofton of SportsBusiness Journal.

The NFL Experience, which has been at every Super Bowl since its inception in 1992, is a large pro football interactive theme park that is often one of the highlights of Super Bowl week. In place of the NFL Experience, New York will feature Super Bowl Boulevard, spanning from 34th to 44th Street along Broadway. All of the cross streets along Super Bowl Boulevard will not be shut down, leaving little room for massive undertakings like the NFL Experience.
The first NFL Experience was first held in Minneapolis in January 1992 leading up to Super Bowl XXVI between the Washington Redskins and Buffalo Bills. During Super Bowl XLVII in New Orleans the event was held at the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center in New Orleans. The experience features interactive games, football clinics, free autograph sessions, and a large memorabilia show among other events.
