The Baltimore Ravens are watching their chance of winning a second Super Bowl go from bad to worse at this point in Super Bowl XLVII. With just over five minutes left to play in the third quarter, defensive end Haloti Ngata headed back to the locker room after injuring his knee on a 49ers scoring run.

Ngata was reportedly seen walking very slowly off the field after it appeared his ankle was rolled on by another play. However, reports say he now left with a sprained knee. The injury occurred on a Frank Gore 6-yard touchdown run with 5:05 left to play.
Reports list Ngata's return as doubtful. Assuming the Ravens can't get him back, they lose a huge impact player to clog up the middle of the running lanes. The 49ers have not been able to get a whole lot going in the running game so far, but with Ngata out they may start seeing more success.
