The California Golden Bears had a surprise participant at Saturday's football spring game--former Bear and current Seattle Seahawks RB Marshawn Lynch. Yes, that's right, Lynch suited up for his alma mater and ran some scrimmages, even scoring a touchdown.

It's hard to tell what was going through the defenders' heads when Lynch took the field. My guess is something along the lines of "don't be Tracy Porter, don't be Tracy Porter, don't be Tracy Porter..."
.@coachsonnydykes said he told the defense it’d be $25 million fine if they tackled Marshawn Lynch. "I didn’t want to get a call from Pete."

Lynch spent three years at Cal from 2004-07, winning Pac-10 Offensive Player of the Year in 2006. He declared for the NFL draft after his junior year and went to the Buffalo Bills with the 12th overall pick. Despite his success in both Buffalo and Seattle, it's clear that his heart still belongs to the Golden Bears.
The only thing Saturday's game was missing was Aaron Rodgers, DeSean Jackson and Jeff Tedford, and the mid-00's reunion would be complete. Well, Cal fans can probably do without the Tedford part.
