Patriots vs. Ravens reportedly set for Week 2 of Monday Night Football

Although the official NFL schedule for the 2013 has yet to come out, it appears that the Patriots will travel to Baltimore to take on the Ravens in Week 2 for Monday Night Football.

The New England Patriots will play the Baltimore Ravens on Monday Night Football this season, likely in Week 2, according to Scott Isaacs of Boston's ABC affiliate, WCVB. It is already known that the Ravens will host the Patriots this year, but the official NFL schedule won't be released until 8 p.m. ET on Thursday.

If the Patriots do travel to Baltimore for Week 2, that game would also mark the date that the Ravens would raise their Super Bowl banner. Baltimore will not raise their Super Bowl banner in Week 1, as a schedule conflict has forced them to start the season on the road. The Ravens will open the NFL season away on Thursday, Sept. 5, in a game most are predicting will be against the team Baltimore beat in the divisional round of the playoffs, the Denver Broncos.

A Monday Night Football battle with the Pats in Week 2 would make two straight primetime playoff rematches for the Ravens, as en route to winning the Super Bowl, Baltimore took out the Patriots, 28-13, in the AFC Championship.
