The long wait for Geno Smith and Manti Teo ended early on Friday as they headlined an eventful second round.

The second round of the 2013 NFL Draft is complete and it did not take long for the fireworks to begin. Geno Smith and Manti Te'o were among the most talked about players during the first round and both came off the board within the first seven picks of the second round.

San Diego traded up in the second round to take Te'o with the No. 38 pick. The Jets added to their confusing quarterback situation one pick later, ending Smith's slide. While Smith and Te'o drew headlines, they were only two picks in an eventful second round.

The San Francisco 49ers were busy in the second round, first trading down from No. 34, only to move back up into the late second round. The 49ers have a number of picks and were able to maneuver around the second round and still come away with Cornellius Carradine and Vance McDonald.
