NFL March Madness: Doug Martin vs. Andrew Hawkins in the final

The NCAA crowned a men's basketball champion Monday night, but NFL March Madness is also ready for the final of the 2012 touchdown tournament.

And then there were two.

Our NFL March Madness touchdown tournament began with the 32 best offensive touchdowns of the 2012 season and after four rounds of voting, the contestants have been narrowed down to two. The upsets continued in the Final Four including a shocking result involving the long-time tournament favorite.

Final Four:

(3) Andrew Hawkins Gets Shifty With It defeated (1) Adrian Peterson Abuses The Packers -- 53 percent to 46 percent.

Adrian Peterson's touchdown against Green Bay rolled through the first three rounds of voting, but in a "down goes Frazier" type moment, Peterson was eliminated by Andrew Hawkins. Peterson hadn't collected less than 67 percent in any of the first three rounds, making Hawkins upset the surprise of the tournament.

(2) Doug Martin Muscle Hamsters Past Atlanta defeated (8) Jamaal Charles Is Still Really Fast -- 72 percent to 27 percent.

Despite the support from Arrowhead Pride, Charles wasn't able to continue his run through the tournament. Charles drew nearly 2,000 votes, but he was a distant second to Martin who collected more than 5,000 votes. Martin breezed through the first four rounds, garnering at least 69 percent of the vote each time.

The Championship:

With only two touchdowns remaining it's time to crown a champion. Voting will begin today and run until Wednesday at 8 p.m. ET.
