The Indianapolis Colts are bringing wide receiver Laurent Robinson in for a visit, according to Adam Caplan.
Indianapolis has a very young stable of receivers on the roster, save veteran standout Reggie Wayne. The other notables would include Darrius Heyward-Bey, T.Y. Hilton and LaVon Brazill. However given Brazill's recent suspension for violating the league's substance abuse policy, it makes sense to bring in a veteran wideout for a closer look.
Robinson has had some serious problems staying healthy however. Last year with the Jacksonville Jaguars, Robinson suffered an astonishing four concussions. He was released by Jacksonville only one year into his 5-year, $32.5 million contract. Robinson has already worked out for the New Orleans Saints, San Francisco 49ers, New York Jets, Detroit Lions and Miami Dolphins.
Last year, Robinson caught 24 passes for 252 yards in seven games.
